During the workshop, attendees will learn about the various types of generative models and their applications, including Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)and Variational Autoencoders (VAEs). They will also have the opportunity to put their knowledge into practice by building and training their own generative models using popular Python libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

In addition to the technical components, attendees will also learn about the ethical and societal implications of generative AI and its potential impact on industries such as art, music, and gaming.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a solid understanding of the principles and applications of generative AI and the tools necessary to start building their own models. Prerequisites:

• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning.

• Familiarity with programming concepts, specifically in Python.

• Experience with Python libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is recommended but not required.

The workshop assumes a basic understanding of programming, computer science, and statistics, with exposure to vectors and matrices, and basic concepts of probability. An email containing some reading material will also be sent across 2 to 3 days prior to the workshop so that participants can join - prepared.

• Dates: 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, Saturdays, and Sundays, March 2023.

• Timings: 11:00 am - 01:00 pm Indian Standard Time.
